How can Ray Warren get away with making comments about our salary cap on air. He is there to call the game (and doing a very bad job of it) The Club should complain to Channel 9 and the League. The Nine commentary leaves a lot to be desired. and that's putting it mildly.

he never once said that he thought our club was over the cap.
what he said went something along the lines of this:
'you can say what you like, and there has been a number of instances of people saying that theyre over the cap or whatever'
he NEVER said that he thought the roosters were over the cap. get over yourselves.
although he may be struggling a bit when it comes to commentating, the bloke is genuine, and has never said a bad word about anybody. and to top it all off, he always stops what he is doing to say gday to me when I see him outside his house, at the park etc.

no you have misunderstood him. Through the whole game they were jizzing their pants over our talent.

Gus especially and was talking about how he had convos with Uncle Nick and explained the turnaround, talking about Tupou and similaraties between him & Folau.

Rabs said that we had so much talent over the park and said Jennings, Maloney, SBW and O'Donnell and then he said that people questioned the cap and then explained thats not the point and that we have a great squad producing quality football.

He was questioning their questions to be precise. I love Rabs id have him over Hadley anyday. That Fox Sports guy is shouting all the time and is very monotoned. I guess people dont like Rabs and Gus because they get very off-topic by talking about the weather or the windows or some show on TV which is quite annoying I have to admit. But you can hear the passion and id take them over nay commentator any day of the week. But we should get rid of Lewis as whenever theres a donkeys game on and hes on the panel theres defeaning silence when they're losing.

Oh alright, so because he's a good bloke and stops and says g'day, he should still be calling the game regardless of the fact that he's clearly not the best man for the position anymore.

If he got Toups & RTS mixed up one more time yesterday I was going to scream, c'mon Rabs Toups is about 6 inches taller than Roger, they also have numbers on their backs! I do love him but geez surely there's a producer in his ear that can correct him when he makes a mistake rather than just let him keep doing it!?!?

When i heard him say that i was suprised.He didnt actually say that we were cheating the cap so the club would be hard pressed to make him retract but the intent of a statement like that is clear to everyone.Feel the hate boys they are starting to fear us.Rabs is getting to be a real pain in the arse with his commentry which is becoming more and more non game related imo time for him to hang up the mike,hand over the reigns to a young colt and retire to the pasture you wouldnt get two bob for him at a stud lol.

Andrew Voss without a doubt. Unfortunately Warrens love affair with Hadley ended up seeing the end of the Voss era.
