I'd go $200/250 we need the experience with all the youngsters we have. He is still a great athlete and will be every bit as good as Sailor has been for the Dragons.

You're kidding aren't you. $200K for Tiquiri. No thanks, anything over $100K is a waste of salary cap.

Tiquiri is a totally different proposition than Sailor. Sailor did a penance of 2 years of not playing sport and had motivation to prove himself. Lote doesn't have that motivation. Nor the hunger and desire that Sailor had built up over that 2 year period.

Lote just wants a cruisy pay packet - which is why he should play French yawnion.

Incentive based deal would make him a good proposition. Naturally it would have to have some decent cash flow, but would be worth it.

This season has done some huge damage to the support base, and no doubt the corporate income. We need a crowd puller initially and Lote would fit that bill.

You mention Sailor and his two years away from the game, and whilst I agree, it's hardly like Lote's body has copped a flogging from Union. He did **** all.

We need experience but in the right positions, not on the wing. We need it in positions that actually have some bearing on the game... the front row is where your most experienced players should be.

Sailor has been a great success as mentor while playing on the wing. Lote would play a similar game to Sailor giving a hand to the forwards with regular hit ups. I also like the idea of an incentive based contract for him.

HE would mentor the boys out on the pull and the drink.
IS that what you really want

Did Sailor mentor the young Dragons in snorting coke?

Unless he really wants to prove something to himself he should stay in France.

He seems to forget what the NRL can do to your body,

but you can't blame him for tryin' to make money while he can.
