I dont know whats going on with his suppose shoulder injury but he seems to be playing pretty good footy for the Roosters but I still dont think he will make SOO this year. It's only a matter time before he is an integral part of the Blues though. Cordner, T Sims, J Whighton, J Mansour, Tedsesco, Ferguson, Reynolds & Woods are the future of the Blues.
1.8m tall? 10kg of muscle from last year? Cmon lol

When carney comes back and throws balls that actually put him in a gap, no one this yr has shown that ability or class yet.

        Give it time gents.

Cordner's defence carries the team at times. He isn't a Sonny Bill type attacker... but the kids a toiler... he tackles and hits hard until the final bell.

You don't think that Maloney has it over carney in every department?

You must be very hard to please.

I'm just watching the replay again of the Dragons game and he was pretty good. That first try that he laid on for Maubs was all class. One of the replays shows Cordner watching Fein and as soon as Fein turned his shoulders in to take Maloney (who was out the back), Cordner gave the ball to the lead runner in Maubs who scored. From the kick-off after I think our third try, Cordner took two of the hit-ups in that first set. He does a lot of the tough stuff in the middle of the park, but still has the class to play a bit in attack. He's absolute gold. I'd take him in the 13 over Paul Gallen in a heart beat.
