Yea there certainly is a lot of love atm for Cordner. Could be doing wonders for the kids confidence though!

My thoughts are that he got MoM for Anzac Day match because there were no real stands out for the roosters in that match.

I think Jennings did a couple good (great) things but who stood out ?

No stand outs? I think the only stand out was MK not because he was amazing (he went ok) but because of his 3 penalties.

That may be the story of how franky Paul got his first pair of cleats.

I'll get crucified for saying it, but I thought SKD had his best all-round game for us for 2 yrs. He actually hit with his body in defence, particularly on Creagh a few times, and took the ball up hard without the constant crab impression.

Imagine if Cordner scores the series winning try for the Blues or saves the try that would've won the series for Qld.. One can only dream.

                          Crucified?

You are spot on Waylander, was obvious from his first tackle that SKD was on mentally, he was awesome the entire match, want to see more of it!

Maybe that's why he seems to go missing at times; bad reads in defence, missed tackles, dropped balls within reach of the try line. The talent's there it is obvious.

I think SKD is at present hit or miss but as you pointed out - if he is on song for 80 minutes he's worth it. And therein lies the question.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

I like the way he played and it's a big difference from his regular games the last 2 years.. BUT... He still lacks that attacking flare he had in 2010. When will he ever find that flare again? Who knows.

In regards to Cordner being 1.8m tall & now that he has put on 10kg of muscle from last season he is one complete backrower lock.

I dont know whats going on with his suppose shoulder injury but he seems to be playing pretty good footy for the Roosters but I still dont think he will make SOO this year. It's only a matter time before he is an integral part of the Blues though. Cordner, T Sims, J Whighton, J Mansour, Tedsesco, Ferguson, Reynolds & Woods are the future of the Blues.
