Skd is our best option at centre. There is certainly no one in Newtown better.

SKD actually holds the equal club record with Bill Mullins of 4 tries in one game, a record which was standing since the 1970's.

Rod O'Loan, a winger from the 1930s, actually holds the club record of 7 tries in the one match.

Have to agree with kegs... He shouldnt be in the squad if he was injured.. His only scored 1 try this season too very unlike skd

We dont have to rely on SKD to score tries this year as we did before when he was our only strike weapon.
This year despite having an abundance of attacking talent Robbo's got the players focused on defence as the foundation of their game. I've been pleased so far with the steady improvement in his defensive technique and sure that when he is confident he will be back to his devastating best in attack.

Our strike centre has 1 try for the year despite regular thrashings.

Most of the opposition tries conceded this year are on his side.

All while being on pretty good coin.

I agree that we have no better option at the moment. However next year i would be waving goodbye at our backpacker. For mine he is one of the last remaining deadwood in the side from the lean years.

That being said, i'm backing him in for a double tomorrow as i think he will mark against a backrower who will be watching Sonny closely and a winger who has suspect defence in Robinson.

His defence has improved but the true test come over the next 3 weeks after tomorrow when we play quality opposition and when he faces up against centres in the game such as Matai, Linnett, etc..

I don't get the obsession with turning good wingers into centres. Folau is an exceptional winger, ok centre.

Other than a lucky intercept in 2010 and one or two tries when we had close to the worst halves in our history, Kenny-Dowall has been shown to be a bigger myth than Tinirau and Kae combined.

There wouldn't be an NRL coach in the land that would leave Folau on the wing. His performance last night was exceptional. Creates far too much to be stuck out on a wing.
