The only thing poor about yesterdays game was the crowd.

Great weather, great stadium...team running hot and only 11000 odd show up.

    Embarrassment.

11,000 against the poorest drawing side in Sydney when they've been going like a busted and it's the TV game? Don't buy into the Souffs crap about crowd sizes. We'd have been pleased with that over the years.

They're a club that doesn't travel at the best of times.

11,000 isn't too bad at all.

Pearce was back to his old tricks. That bomb of his needs to go. When was the last time it bore fruit?

Basically, without Maloney we'd have blown that game.

Penrith continue to be a bogey side for us.

The defence is good though. Just one try, and as arsey one at that.

We can't be at our best every week.

The Storm struggled against the Tigers and Warriors and lost to Canberra.

This team has come a long way in a short time and there is still plenty of improvement left.

i didnt think we played 100% to our ability
probably the most disappointing win of the season in my opinion
but a win is a win

That's the most important thing, we have improvement in us.

Did you appreciate Maloney's tribute to our bogan opponents with his own version of the rats tail?

It's a long season. Do we want the same 17 for every remaining round?

We didn't play our best due to the opposition. Thought our attack was a bit rash at times (maybe not respecting Penrith's defense enough). Yet we still won 30-6 and only conceeded a lucky try. Those matches are always hardest to get up for, so I'm pleased with the result even though the execution wasn't it's best

We are not going to play like superstars every week. We played as well as we had to and we still won by 24 points. I think the team learnt an important lesson in Canberra. We won't lose too many more games.

An old Roosters team would have lost to a bunch of nuffies like Penrith, but this team did what they had to do and came away with the points. Something we haven't seen in a while.

Last year in the corresponding fixture a Panferrs side that had been completely written off came and absolutely whacked us on a beautiful sunny Sunday and ended our season for all but the diehards.

This time we came and showed up and despite being below the fans slightly overblown expectations we ground out a bland victory.

Thats a tick, collect the two points when you are expected to and a few when you arent and you will be there playing for all the chocolates
