  • Beetroot Face into Us Again

He is having another go at us in the Telecrap, I have sent reply, had to tame it down a lot to what I wanted to say, in the vain hope it gets published, but it probably wont be.

Phil Rothfield is so biased against the Chooks, his boss should make him drop off reporting about them, he hasent even got the mettle to go into their dressing shed, so that says it all about his character. Also on the same post, by some magic means, he also manages to praise the Gummies to the hilt, what a surprise. Noibody that matters has said anything about the Chooks being premiership threats, its way too early for that, the Roosters know that, they don't need a lackie who has never laced a boot on, to tell them the obvious.

BR do what I do don't read his articles. I spoke to Ted Helliar in the sheds after the Dogs game and he told me Cockfield hasn't got the guts to come near our sheds the grub.

I read the article this morning over an early morning cuppa.
To be fair he makes the point that we haven't really been tested so far this year against quality opposition (bar the Souths game).
        He's right.

If we can match the better teams in the weeks to come I wonder what his column will be like.
        Humble pie?
        I very much doubt it.

Can you show me one of these types of columns that he has ever done in his entire career as a respected journalist ?

I was thinking that if it doesn't eventuate we could make him wear the pies?

His face is red enough mate.

He must have gone on a bender with Toddy yesterday after the gummies finally won a game.

He is not respected. He is a joke. I find his lack of articles about his Sharkies hilarious. All of the Sharkies articles recently have come from all the other journos. Just a joke of a human - a very little man.

Next game is the test to judge how far we have come as you can bet Manly will be up for it.

I just read his article. I can't disagree with too much that he has said. Its all pretty much fact and I'm sure its something the coaching and playing staff are aware of. I'm sure that the team had half an eye on this weekends game yesterday and that Robbo will have the boys primed for a massive effort against Manly on Monday night

                        Nothing wrong with it..
Open the other eye up mate. He is spot on.
The next 8 weeks will be telling with games against the Cows, Manly and Melbourne plus origin.

He's only spot on about not beating a gun side yet, not about everybody at Easts says we are good things to win the premiership, we cant help the draw, you play who you drawn to play, we will get the big games coming up soon, the wanker should of waited till then to have a go, if he had something to have a go at. But its not rocket science we all know we haven't played most of the gun sides yet.

He's not having a go at us. Or I didn't interpret it as such. If you think that's him having a go at us, then you're too thin skinned.

Even if we do not defeat Manly it is not the end of the world. We defeated Caterbury in the one game that mattered in 2003.
