      Brett Papworth..

      Massive signing from Yawnion..

In 5 years at our club he did nothing but get hurt..

We did win a Sevens tournament pre-season in this period, which he starred in,but to me that just compounds the disappointment..Pre-season means faark all..

Les Cleal was another who came with massive wraps, and did nothing..

Do you remember the big Toyota ad at the SFS, with Papworth.
The catch phrase was "not even Brett Papworth can break this"

Felt sorry for Papworth,he would have been great had he not been injured all the time,i have never seen such a horrific run of injuries,i still remember him smashing his jaw when he tried to tackle Rod Wishart down in Wollongong.

Didn't think Gavin Lester did too bad considering the limited amount of first grade he actually played.

            Rocket Rod Wishart.
There's a man who could blow a hamstring.
First time I heard the nickname for someone who is injured all the time, it was in reference to RRW

Myles is exactly like Morley - except Morley didnt shit himself.

Myles will be a legend at this club and when he is ****ed off to England, there'll be fans wishing and fuming that we keep him. He is only 23. He will be our best next year, and would have this year if it wasnt for the runs. We may have even won a game and missed teh spoon, because God knows the idiot coconuts that were standing in for him secured the spoon for us.

Mark my words..Myles will be a Roosters legend.

Melon, Nate Myles needs to grow a brain and gain some maturity before he will be a legend of any Club.

He reckons it was a crook guts that made him do what he did on the Central Coast. Well here's a thought, perhaps he shouldn't have excerbated his crook guts by plying it with a bellyfull of liquor the evening before. That can't have done them much good.

Until the the bloke can muster some common sense from somewhere in his pea sized brain, his footballing talents will always be overshadowed by on and off the field indiscretions.

You can only give a player so many chances, and Nate's had more than most.

Nate Myles is one of the best forwards in the competition, he should be playing in the backrow though... it's where he plays his best footy. We need to sign some props badly.

Myles is our best forward, we need to utilise all his abilities rather than minimise them by playing him in the front row.

I actually disagree there, Myles is the epitome of the modern day prop. Just needs to try and keep his average metres over 100, sometimes he will have the odd game where he makes very few runs.

He is a toiling worker, like Morley or Cayless. We need backrowers who are mobile but can make a tonne of tackles. Nathan Smith at Panthers, for example. He consistently makes 30+ tackles a game (assuming he is kept on the field for 80 minutes) but he can't crack the Panthers backrow now that Luke Lewis is their lock-forward.

Smith would come cheap, he is very mobile, he can control the ruck, can break the line surprisingly well for a toiler too. And he is around 26-27, so he is experienced enough too.

He could very well be our David Stagg. That is what we need, a bargain barrel relatively experienced lock known for being a good defender. Watch the productivity of guys like Paea, Mason, Nuuausala, and Myles skyrocket once they have someone doing a bit of their dirty work for them, and controlling the ruck so that those nippy smaller blokes don't run rings around them.

He would only make the bench at most top 8 clubs... He is terrribly unfit, has the potency of a eunuch when hitting the ball up and gives me the Myles every time he gets penalised in the ruck and has that startled look on his face like a boy who has been caught with his hands in the cookie jar.
