People forget how good our 2010 team was.

Our middle third was superior to what it is now (Ryles, JWH, Kennedy, Conn, Masoe & Myles)
Our halves pairing was superior to what it is now, not by a huge margin I must admit though.
Our fringes are superior now than what they were with the additions of Jennings & SBW although Linnett & Anasta were both very good players through our 2010 campaign.
And I think our back 3 are about on par.

2010 was a greater attacking side and it suited what Robbo labeled one of the fastest paced seasons in recent history.
2013 is a greater defensive side, although a lot it still unknown until we play the top teams in the comp, because our record at the moment against top 8 sides isn't really pretty reading.

Struggled to score points in both games which has to be a bit of a concern. I also rate Canberra as a top 8 team and we got to play them without Campese and still lost.

You can only play the hand you're dealt so it's not really a mark against us but it's a question mark that remains, the next 3 weeks will tell the story but I don't see how people can be claiming we're the real deal yet.
