My two best mates are Roosters supporters as well. We were having a couple of quiet one's at Xmas time and I mentioned SBW. Should have heard them both....'don't want him', 'he's not that good', 'his hearts not in it', 'he can't tackle'....they just went on and on. I told them I thought he was potentially our best signing since Freddie and they shouted me down...'no way', 'don't even mention him in the same breath!'.

I take great delight in texting them every time he does something breath taking. They are both sick to death of eating humble pie, but they both love the man and player now.

Till last sunday he was the consumate pro on the field

Against Penrith he took an angry pill & displayed another dimension, a backs to the wall, whatever it takes to win this one

alongside JWH & LOD, he straightened the approach with ball in hand, reverting to a simple but extremely tough plan in the second half which calmed the lads down & the focus once again became clear....

Its all very well to express yourselves & put on a display, blood & guts is another level again, we touched on that in the last 40mins which to me is what is expected in faceing the likes of Manly etc

Jack, those pharmacy scales are a rort. They just want you to buy their overpriced diet products. You have my permission to subtract at least 3kg from what they say...trust me...

There were some people here who said the same thing.. One belter was raving on how it was Andrew Ryan who did all his hard work.. You just have to wonder what game they are watching.
