NSW usually operate with a lighter and more mobile forward pack which means that they are always a chance towards the back end of games. We have seen this throughout the last few series, but Daley will need to play Gallen and Tamou for a lot longer during the opening of the game.

I get the feeling that Uate will not get selected because of both the games he played in origin last year he was exposed and was subsequently dropped for game 3. I would say if B. Morris is not fit they will go with Merritt.

Fergusson, Tafua & Uate have to be 3 of the biggest dopes on the wings in the game.

Especially agree about Ferguson. I can't believe he's even being mentioned for NSW - he's got a million mistakes in him every game, and he can't tackle to save his life. Shows that nothing's changed under Daley if he's even considering him.

Just back to Merritt for a minute, while I don't see a lot of Souths games, over the years I have seen him score no more then a few long range tries. Most of them have been simple catch and stroll over the line ones, that my grandmother would of scored.

If he can play first grade consistently then he can play origin.

As a proud New South Welshman, that would be the ONLY reason I would welcome such a selection.

There has to be a bunch of other fullbacks that would need to be injured or assasinated before Mini is considered again.

haven't seen slater split a team open and run the length of the field to score for quite a while now
mini isnt as slow as people make him out to be, the fastest man in the world over 40 meters couldn't catch him on anzac day
Sticky will more than likely make hayne fake an injury before game one so he can play for parra that week,
