Or looking at it the other way, he's only played 5 yrs of f/g, not 8

I reckon he's a better option than signing another young bloke, who may take another year or two to settle into NRL.
We need a decent centre/winger with some experience NOW!

With Graham and Linnett coming next year i would like to see this side.
1. Mini
2. Perrett
3. Williamson/Linnett
4. Graham
5. Kenny-Dowall
6. Carney
7. Pearce
8. Nuuasala
9. Friend
10. Myles
11. Aubusson
12. Conn
13. Anasta (c)
14. Jones/ Symonds
15. Paea
16. Mason
17. Weara-Hargreaves
Perrett is a better winger then centre and Graham has played centre before so it seems all right this team. And Williamson and Linnett will battle it out. Linnett might get it becasue Williamson still has finished a full season in NYC becasue of Injuries and Suspension.

Williamson no longer trains with the NYC boys at all only trains with FG so i think he would be first in line for a center or wing spot. By start of next season he will be over his injuries and with a few good preseason games under his belt he will have his confidence back and be back to his best. That's in theory anyway.

I'd be inclined to start Morbs in the centres with Graham, with Linnett getting the feel of playing in a higher age group with Jets for a bit, while Williamson gets back some match fitness in NYC. Then, whoever has progressed the most after say 5-6 rounds out of Linnett and Williamson can shift into the first grade team, with Mitch Aubusson moving into the backrow.
For sparking long-range movements, we should shift the ball Graham's way, he has pace and experience in a broken field. However when we are 10 metres out, I would be shifting the ball over to Linnett and Williamson, who are both sizable kids that can cause damage from close range.

Williamson - most coaches start good young centres on the wing for a while. I expect this to happen.....SKD under real pressure, woohoo!
Pez was surprisingly impressive at centre on Sun, however I'm not sure he was tested much.
As stated before, a bit of competition for positions will do a WORLD of good for intensity and effort.
Mr Smith knows much more than I, he'll work it out.

What I think we should start with:
First Grade
1. Anthony Minichiello
2. Sammy Perrett
3. Mitch Aubusson
4. Phil Graham
5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
Newtown
1. Luke Towers
2. Iwi Hauraki
3. Kane Linnett
4. Ben Jones
5. Sandor Earl
Under 20's
1. Cheyse Blair
2. Grant Nelson (I would rather never see Tufuga Sa play again, he is hopeless)
3. Ryan Williamson
4. JP Du Plessis
5. Fine Moeakiola
The way that would work, we would start off by fielding our most experienced backline possible.
We already know that Mitchell Aubusson is good enough to play in the forwards, and he is more than likely just a stopgap centre for the meantime, so we can play him there until either Ryan Williamson or Kane Linnett is ready to step up, then shift Morbs into the forward pack.
Ben Jones should play for the Jets if he cannot make the bench for the FG team - he needs to work on his defense, but NYC isn't the competition for that. Dare I say, he will have more practice tackling while playing park footy at Henson, instead of running around with the U20 team.
Shaun Kenny-Dowall can start the year there, but he needs to be put on notice by Smith VERY early. Pretty much, no stupid mistakes, forced plays or brain explosions. Either he uses his BRAIN on the field, or he can get dropped to Jets and either Moeakiola or Earl can step up.
Right now I am assuming that Hauraki, Earl and Towers are staying, but if not, we still have Sonny Tuigamala (I think), Sisa Waqa and Smith Samau (I think), who can replace those question-marked blokes respectively.
The depth isn't GREAT by any means, but with Graham and Linnett coming, Earl and Towers graduating NYC, and Minichiello hopefully staying at full fitness, it gives us just enough to work with next season. Remember though, Graham is a stopgap too, until we find a younger strike centre.
