They should have to prove conclusively that he DID DELIBERATELY make the contact with the head...Rose's head dropped down at the last second....if he deliberately did that, then Jared is a psychic...how would he know that George would drop his face at that exact moment in time? it was careless and deserves 2 weeks..

Did you miss the part where Jared jumped up and elevated himself? Jared had the time to calculate the tackle and further make a conscious decision to lift himself up. I don't think he deliberately went for the head, but the way he approached that tackle clearly was reckless. He was tempting fate. It wasn't a matter of just Rose dropping down which caused the head high contact.

Jared's one of my favourites, but the rationale behind the charge is pretty obvious IMO. His base charge of 2 weeks with an early guilt plea seemed fair and even you just agreed with that. THe annoying thing is he gets 3 weeks extra with his loading, but that is of his own making.

I think the lesser arguement is how many weeks JWH got or whether he got sent off.

The bigger arguement is that there are others doing this sort of tackle and getting away with it.
