Look up the songs they sing at the EPL mate and see what yr most of them a from .....next

we will never see an atmosphere like the ALeague, EPL or ESL.
The singing of songs at the NRL, won't catch on, and IMO doesn't need to.
I follow the ALeague closely, and whilst singing the songs sounds great at the home end, you can't really hear them elsewhere in Allianz Stadium.
Even the Wanders' songs at the GF were not heard elsewhere in the stadium. Their chants of course were....why? Because they are simplistic and everyone around the stadium joins in.
Yes, they sound great on tv, but that is because Fox mic up the home end.
Whilst Im all for increasing the number of chants, and definatly the number of people joining in, we also need to be mindful of our market.

Hi Stephen, are you aware that Bill Harrigan hasn't had anything to do with the refs this year? Do you also think Daniel Anderson has an anti Roosters agenda??

MY PROBLEM IS THAT I STILL SEE HARRI GAN AROUND MY LOCAL AREA, hes like a bad smell, his influence must still pervade the ref ranks? i do have a lot more faith in Anderson though especially if he has the right personnel in his ranks, perhaps they need to start blooding junior refs in nrl, then resort back to international rules of one ref?wqe must completly rid the game of the extensive alkl pervasive muroch stench eventually thatr means melbourne being owned by others as too brisbane, not sure how much interest news have in the cows, but if thery do it explains a lot about penalties etc?

I think we need a war cry that everyone can sing/chant that we can all learn easily (so have an echo for the ones who don't know the chant) and make it catchy and have it easily recognisable. I like the army marching song (wish that all the ladies (echo that line) were waves in the ocean (echo again) and I was a surfer (echo again) I'd ride them in slow motion (echo) then the chorus Singing Be bop a loop a (echo) singing be bop a loop a (echo). The verses can be switched around (obviously!!) so that it is pertinent to the Roosters and everyone can sing it! I love going to Sydney games (live in Qld so doesn't happen often) but the roar from the Roosters area is awesome - makes it the best atmosphere. My hubby is a Manly supporter - they give out their chants on pieces of paper in the bus and it's great - their travelling supporters are very vocal.

Thinking of something like this - again don't kill me for my post - it's just a suggestion! You will all surely come up with far improved verses/tunes

I like the Seven Nation Army chant. I'm also glad the Roosters are starting to broaden their chants a little and each home game starts to get a little more electrifying every time.

Even noticed at Brookie that they don't do much outside of their Manly chant.

Just need more simple, catchy chants that where anyone can join in. Souths/Dragons do it pretty well.

Yeh i don't think they can beat the first chant you've got there, every fan knows it from our song and its catchy and easy to sing. You could mix it up with Eastern Suburbs or Sydney Roosters team at the end. All thats needed is simple ones like these.

Whatever it's going to be, it needs to be simple. No point trying to push something that has 6 verses and a chorus.

Saying that, those 4 that are on the email that Easts sent out this arvo are just plain embarrassing.

How about this one, it's not quite as family friendly as some of the others, but it's catchy....haha.
