Didn't watch or listen to the game tonight, but noticed that the Cowboys' "discipline" was exemplary. It difficult wet conditions they only conceded 3 penalties all night and none at all in the second half. Well done.

Ray Thompson should have been penalised twice for blatant hands on the ball in the second half after held was called, otherwise nothing stood out tbh, they were very disciplined tonight.

We had a set during the second half where on every play their players were well offside and were running out of the line even before our guy played the ball.

Yet, in a continuation of a tradition that now goes back about 10 years, we never get penalty counts heavily in our favour. NEVER.

Anyway, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. You generally don't get big penalty counts to help you in Grand Finals. (Blind touch judges, maybe, but rarely a big penalty count.)

Receiving only one in 80 minutes of GF football is fairly effective, when your opponents get 5.

Not me! I am just congratulating an outstanding, "disciplined" performance by the home team. I did the same when Canberra conceded no penalties in the second half of their home game. They were even better than the Cowboys, winning the overall count 6-2.

I've given up on our own ill-discipline. It is woven into the fabric of the jersey it would seem.
