  • Congratulations Cowboys

Didn't watch or listen to the game tonight, but noticed that the Cowboys' "discipline" was exemplary. It difficult wet conditions they only conceded 3 penalties all night and none at all in the second half. Well done.

P.S. Eat shit and die you inbred bogans.

Ray Thompson should have been penalised twice for blatant hands on the ball in the second half after held was called, otherwise nothing stood out tbh, they were very disciplined tonight.

We had a set during the second half where on every play their players were well offside and were running out of the line even before our guy played the ball.

      Disgraceful officiating.

I don't mind home town refs as long as we get them as well at Allianz.

As I said, haven't seen any of the game. It's hard to tell watching it on TV anyway - offsides are largely invisible.

I must say that I am surprised about the Roosters continuing problems with "discipline". You'd have to say that by any other measure, the Roosters are a very disciplined side indeed. Yet, in a continuation of a tradition that now goes back about 10 years, we never get penalty counts heavily in our favour. NEVER.

Anyway, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. You generally don't get big penalty counts to help you in Grand Finals. (Blind touch judges, maybe, but rarely a big penalty count.)

Well ELO, as they were blatant as you say, what kept the refs' whistles out of their mouths? Was it a reward for what you say was their OTHERWISE "very disciplined display"?

And I think if you watch the second half again, you might just possibly find more infringements than those two.

This is a tough team - good enough to go all the way - they can finally beat the refs as well as the other team.

Find me the last penalty count we won at a ratio of 3:1.

ive seen a lot of anti roosters bias from refs over the years tonight was one of the worst, i can only assume because the cows were in pink the refs thought it was their team? even down to a penalty after the final siren to try and get them over the line?

Receiving only one in 80 minutes of GF football is fairly effective, when your opponents get 5.

We play against 14 men every week how the hell do you get penalised being on your line when the cowgirls took the tap 5 metres out we got justice in the end Go Easts.

Not me! I am just congratulating an outstanding, "disciplined" performance by the home team. I did the same when Canberra conceded no penalties in the second half of their home game. They were even better than the Cowboys, winning the overall count 6-2.

I've given up on our own ill-discipline. It is woven into the fabric of the jersey it would seem.

Best For and against. 2nd place and we can improve in so many areas like discipline for one. Vermin must be worried.
What will happen with Moga & JWH back, attacking down Jennings LHS and RTS at FB. So much to look forward to.
