  • We need a big crowd on Saturday night!!

The boys deserve it after two huge wins away from home. Up against the reigning premiers this will be the ultimate test for our team before we head into the origin period.

Obviously not many Storm fans will show up so we need to pack it out as much as possible and create good atmosphere.

KICK OFF SATURDAY 7:30pm @ Allianz Stadium

Spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, tell your friend etc etc, the club is offering 4 game memberships for $75 which is great value if you ask me.

    The boys deserve it.

If I wasn't working, i'd seriously be hitting up Jetstar right about now. Gaaaah, I get so jealous of you sydneysiders from march to September every year!

      completely agree, R6.
Why do we only have the ANZAC day game as our only sell out?
If people believe we're the real deal, why don't they come out and watch us play?
I'm all for the atmosphere, and supporting the team, and will be making my way out there on Saturday night as well.
The more people we get, the better. Im hoping for a 20k + crowd this week.
Pumping 'Not Giving In' - by the Rudimentals as the boys run on makes my spine tingle.
      Fark I love it!

Cold showering Sat night predicted, Melb the other team.
Not our luck to get a sunny day/fine night.

We'll likely get our usual core 10,000 supporters.
We'll just have to make more noise than usual.

"It's never the same unless you're there at the game".

When are they going to put a roof over the stadium?

...or at least over the seating areas.
Wouldn't cost much...a few cables, that 'sailcloth' stuff strung along, rain run into a gutter and outside.

Thats 5 days away & probably will change 5 times before next Saturday.

Agree with the sentiment of the thread, the boys really do deserve a big crowd getting right behind them on Saturday night.

              GO EASTS!

I think you have take in to account Anzac Day is a public holiday and played between two Sydney teams, and at what I would say is a fantastic time (4.00pm) of day to play a game. Plenty of time to celebrate a win

I understand what you're saying but against Melbourne on a Saturday night it's unlikely you'd get a full house.

In saying that, this week's game should be a cracker regardless of what happens tonight. The Roosters backed up well against the Cowboys and there is no reason why the Storm can't do the same (back up) against us; same time turnaround and opposition at the same ground.

I think the 8 – 2 start is brilliant and if we can beat the Storm this week that would be the icing on the cake as I really feel these last 3 weeks has been our litmus test.

A long way to go admittedly but at present couldn’t be happier.

I will have to check my diary But I think the poetry club I have been a memebert for 12 years has their annual dinner on that night and I just could not miss such a night

Me and the Surry Hills drinking crew will be there as usual.

Might be an early start, so it could get a bit messy later - especially if/when we win.

Is that akin to washing your hair?
