I don't think he's done too much wrong, doesn't get nearly as much ball as RTS so he's obviously not going to so as much on the offensive side of things. He has a few errors in him but so do a lot of our players, without comparing him to anyone (ie. RTS) I think he's done a serviceable job and has a great upside. We haven't seen the best of Toops and I look forward to him playing some blinders.

He looked good the start of the year, but these last couple of weeks he hasn't seen any ball. We've been screaming out for a winger like him for years. We finally get it and people are still not happy!

He has the odd error in him but you certainly wouldn't say he is a liability to the team.

He looks quick over 100m, but he doesn't appear to have the explosive initial speed of Jennings or RTS. I'm not sure if it just appears this way due to his height and build or he actually takes a bit to get going.

I think next year, with some work on his explosive speed and power, he could become a very good long term winger for us.

As an aside, Moga is being touted as the saviour on his return - potentially replacing SKD or Tupou. Although he has plenty of potential, he still needs to prove himself as first grade material. From what I've seen, my concern is his attitude rather than his talent. There were times last year where he seemed lazy and didn't have that desperation in defence that the team has been showing this year. I'd be surprised if he played any firsts this year unless we get some injuries to the outside backs.
There were times last year where 90% of the team had a shit attitude towards defence. Seems Robbo has sorted that out. I think Moga's attitude will be like everyone else's when he returns

As I posted in the last Toops thread, he hasn't realised he's 105kgs and 195cm tall who can offer a hell of a lot more than just leap for bombs, if he does he will be a top line outside back, if he doesn't he'll be a fringe first grader his whole career.

          All in the head.

it's rare that a young player comes into first grade and just looks like they were made for it right from the start, especially with the positional aspects that apply to outside backs. You want him to charge every kick back like he's Uate already? That comes with confidence, and as yet he hasn't got that

he's easily shown enough so far to be given every chance to develop

Agree Tony. Wait until we develop plays to the LHS of the field. At present much of our attack goes right. Keeping something up our sleeve for the 2nd half of the competition.

Dunno what everyone is complaining about. He did nothing wrong against Cowboys except drop one kick that should've been an easy catch. He saved 1 or 2 trys. He has shown he has speed by keeping up with Jennings when he ran the field against Manly. He has shown power by breaking multiple tackles and dragging defenders. And he has shown what his height/long arms can do for him, diffuse dangerous situations like against Glenn Stewarts chip for Williams and although Tupou was behind Williams, still managed to punch the ball dead. If we had Perrett, Leilua or Dwarf on his wing we would've lost against Cowgirls.

Not to mention he's still growing and learning what he's capable of.

Yeah he might also make a couple of errors.. So does Uate.

Can't really argue with that mate.....she's right up there with the sexiest women, that's for sure. Gorgeous and talented is a winning combination in my book.

What about when he was running the same speed as Jennings when he intercepted the pass to score in the Manly game? He stayed about 3-4 metres behind him the whole time.
