I was on holiday in Sydney not long ago and randomly came across our 1st grade squad training on the Randwick Rugby field in Coogee.
Being a life-long Roosters fan, I was pretty excited to be able to watch the squad train up close. After they finished all the players came over to where a few fans were and posed for photos.
Now, I know it's not hard to have a photo with a fan but I was really impressed with how all the boys handled themselves. Every player I met made a real effort to have a chat, asking where you're from, if you're coming to the next game and all that stuff.
I just wanted to give the players, coaches and club a wrap because they are continuously bagged in the media for different things but as far as I was concerned they couldn't have been more friendly!
