He cops more crap than is justified. In the last couple of weeks, starting, he has stepped up. He and LOD were v good for the first 20 against the Cows.
Another thing that isn't referred to is that when he tackles, the defensive line isn't pushed back 4 to 5 metres, which gives a quick play the ball. Because he is a big unit, the play generally stops close to the point of impact, which helps the defensive line reset.

Gees if that's the team you have to feel sorry for Tim Grant. I thought he went well last year. That first hit up where he sat Pedro straight on his ass is an origin debut to remember. He is going good out at the riff too.

Gidley is the biggest selection joke. I also wouldn't have Gallen in the team.. He is massively overrated, no surprise to me that Cronulla start showing a marked improvement with him out injured. It means the rest of the team can start getting their hands on the ball.

That responsibility has fallen on our props which have made Jared's performances all the more impresive and probably lead to Kennedy being undervalued because as some have pointed out on here he's been getting through a lot of work in defence which has to take something out of his attack.

Nothing against Cordner either he's been brilliant but its not him to be making 40-50 tackles a game.

The thing with SKD is at the beginning of the season the coach saw him as a liability in attack and defence.

How the eff can you say that. You may believe he was a liability, hell everyone may believe he is/was.
But no one here knows what the coach was thinking. We can assume but TR will not give away his thoughts.

We don't need more ball runners but I reckon we could do with a defence orientated player to take some of the workload off the big boppers carrying the ball forward & Friendy.

Would love it if we brought Big Nigel Plum back.
