I see my blast to our club officials has been vindicated, by that woodduck Taylor, fighting his grading and getting it lowered, and his disgression looked a lot worse the JWH's, but our lot never had the balls to fight it. Hence he is ok to play and our bloke is cooling his heels on the sideline. By Rose falling into the tackle, was more then enough reason for the tackle finishing up high, and the charge to be given a lessor rating. I hope they learn something from that.

What happens to those carry-over points that caused JWH to miss so many weeks. Is his slate effectively wiped clean now with no points that will cause him grief in the future?

You can't compare the two shots, while I do think its ludicrous that JWH has so many weeks, Taylor's shot was nothing. I would not have even penalised it.

He had 150 per cent loading for prior offences. Core sentence was two weeks for this charge but loading resulted in five. In four weeks that original loading is reduced to 50 per cent but he copped another 50 per cent for this offence so his revised loading will be 100 per cent . The loading only applies if he gets charged with the same offence

I was fortunate enough to have brekky yesterday with a mate who is on the review panel and he explained it well to me when I asked him about the loading for jwh. He was very complimentary of Robbo's professionalism in dealing with the panel . Given it was a core charge of two weeks I am no sure much would be gained from a downgrade charge given the loading.
