    ROOSTERS V STORM

Dylan Napa is a chance to make his debut for the Roosters tomorrow. The club is light-on in the front row and he could be used to replace either Luke O'Donnell or Aidan Guerra. The Storm are expected to be 1-17. Slade Griffin will travel as 18th man, but is unlikely to play.http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/lat...-1226649501933

Lets be honest... Thats a little bit tough... The only guy to let a try through the hands in, in the weeks since Canberra I believe. I don't think he will be dropped because of that.. I think he has been lazy in defence in the last 2 games to be honest - the try was not all his fault... You can't blame anyone for falling for that dummy. It was a 50/50, if Lui passes and Guerra hits Lui, they score. If Guerra slides and Lui passes, no try.

Im all for Napa on the bench, get him some FG experience, and Guerra would be rather ineffective against the Rorts.
              Napa fits the bill.

I don't see the need for Guerra when we have Aubs and SBW anyway. Napa for Guerra with Kennedy LOD Napa and Tasi front row with FPN giving Cordner a rest at lock.

As keen as I am to see Napa get a crack, I don't think it would be fair to drop Guerra. He's not exactly dominating, but he deserves time to regain form - not least against his nemesis, Bellamy.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

yeah i wasnt being entirely serious haha
he doesnt deserve to be dropped at all, but he should make room , just until we have at least got Sam Moa back
we need another prop on the bench and i know Napa is pretty much a second rower now, he still has prop mentality unlike guerra

would of thought it would make more sense blooding Napa against the Eels after the bye, instead of the battle hardened Storm.

but I do agree the balance of our bench isn't quite right, especially with Maubs/SBW both playing 80 minutes recently, allows for our frontrowers to be used in shorter bursts to keep them fresh.
