  • Comeback Cayless

    From SMH.

    "Another player looking to revive his career in the NRL next year is St Helens prop Jason Cayless. The former Kiwi international has been sidelined for the remainder of the Super League season with a shoulder injury caused by a chicken wing tackle but his manager, David Riolo, last night scotched reports he had retired and said he hoped to play in the NRL again next season after previous stints with Parramatta and the Roosters."

    Some useless statistics for your review: -
    • The City of Sydney Local Government Area (the “City’) covers approximately 26.15 square kilometres;
    • The City of Sydney is located at 33 degrees 52 minutes South and 151 degrees 12 minutes East;
    • Sydney’s annual average of sunshine is almost seven hours a day;
    • Its temperature ranges from a moderate average winter minimum of 9 and a maximum of 17 degrees Celsius to a peak summer maximum average of 26 degrees Celsius;
    • Sydney’s rainfall averages 1213 mm a year;
    • The City of Sydney is currently home to 177,000 people (June 2009).
    • The median average income of the City workforce is $1085 per week, or an annual income of $56,570.

    Therefore as you can see from my pointless statistics, the city of city could easily accommodate one additional person. Cayless could very well be tempted to a move to Easts due to the ample sunshine and moderate rain, particularly if we can offer more then the median average income of the City workforce.

    Ryles or Cayless?

    Cayless by a mile. If only.

      Smith wasn't too happy about him joining the Roosters when he was coach of Parramatta.
      Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

                    Jason Cayless was the only coconut that could play week in week out season after season-get him.

                      The guy has been injury-prone in his seasons in the ESL.

                      2002-2005 he was a champion forward for us. But he has gotten on, and is an injury on legs.

                          Morley was in my dream the other night.

                          Wasn't about football though.

                            Not sure how true it is but Cayless and Lote will be playing with the tigers in 2010.
