Jason Cayless has been injury prone his whole career. We were bloody lucky to get the years and games out of him we did.

He's had a lot of injuries in the ESL, which is not as hard on your body as the NRL.

If the Tigers want to take a chance, good on them. But his knees have always been dodgy and it looks like the shoulders are following.

Top bloke and great Rooster in his day - but he's a few years older and leg weary now.

Good call. His posture was bloody ugly in his prime.

        Sign him up Tigers.

Wonderful news and good luck to them because I'm sure glad the Roosters didn't get him due to his aforementioned physical state.

Prop Jason Cayless is set to return to the NRL following a four-year stint in England, signing a two-year deal with Wests Tigers.

The former NRL premiership winner and Kiwi international has spent the past four years with English Super League club St Helens.

But the former Sydney Rooster and Parramatta player has agreed a deal with the Tigers for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

"It is great to be back in Australia playing in the NRL competition with a club heading in the right direction such as the Wests Tigers," Cayless said in a statement.

"I can't wait to play with the likes of Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah, Gareth Ellis and the boys under an excellent coach in Tim Sheens."

Sheens said Cayless was a quality signing for the club.

"Jason will add a lot of depth and experience to the pack and will provide invaluable leadership to the strong crop of exciting young forwards coming through the ranks at Wests Tigers," he said.
