  • I Just Can't Get Enough

I don't know if you guys saw this in the 'New Chants' thread, but im really keen to get this going.

I Just Can't Get Enough by Depeche Mode is one of my favourite chants, and I really want to get it going tonight for the game, and hopefully it will catch on and become the chant the Roosters are known for. Here are the lyrics and a link:

When I see MY Rooster I just go off my head
    i just can't get enough
    i just can't get enough
My Heart bleeds Roosters and I know i'm bondi bred
    i just can't get enough
    i just can't get enough
We score a try and the pen goes wild
and I just can't seem to get enough of....
do do do do do do do.

    http://youtu.be/RW2-mcWteJo

so EVERYBODY, whether you are going to the game or not, learn the lyrics and be prepared to sing!

I just love hearing Hear Come The Roosters before and after a game personally.

I'm not one for chants, I'm too focused on the game.

But I am not against them either.

I don't watch soccer but their crowd chants and involvement is very good. But IMO it works in that game cos it's so farking boring. I don't believe we really need it much in RL, too much action on the actual field.

And that song still blows maaaaaaaaate.

I completely understand what you mean, and I agree, it happens in soccer because in that game you could play for up to 100 minutes and still not get any goals let alone a result.
You are right, it hardly, if ever occurs in league, union or even aussie rules.
I thought it would be a good idea, seeing as we often get poor crowd numbers to our games considering the size of our stadium. A few chants can make the crowd seem a lot bigger than it actually is.

And it think its a great song maaaaaate
