Add to it things like the ongoing "Inglis is from NSW and under no set of rules was ever allowed to play for QLD" and it just becomes a farce.

QLD complained that they'd bail if NSW won 3 in a row so it's now been stacked in QLD's favour for basically a decade.

This has also stunted my interest in international RL because I'm sick of Gronk, Smith, Slater, Inglis...etc so get close to cheering for NZ in internationals (RTS, SKD, JWH, SBW...etc at least I give a stuff about those boys.)

This, although I'm a Queenslander there are so many people I just hate in the Aussie team. Some which are Qlders like Slater, Boyd then in NSW there's Gallen, Stewart Bros etc. So I have basically switched to the Kiwi's to support our boys.

I've done a deal with a girl at work from New Zealand. Because the Warriors are rubbish this year, she's coming to the semis with me, in borrowed Roosters gear, to cheer for JWH, FPN, SKD & SBW (basically anyone with triple barreled initials). I in return can sing the New Zealand national anthem with her during Test matches.

I watch it and love it because its 34 of the top 40 odd players in the world playing the 3 best games of footy of the year. Coverage starts at 7 or so, I flick on at 8.05 for kick off. Just as I flick on every Friday night at 7.45 as to miss the rubbish.

This was our chance to pick a bigger team then them. For 7 yrs they have dominated us through the forwards and **** knows why those two muppets (Daley and Bozo) went with a mobile pack AGAIN. I think it's an oppurtunity missed by not picking Grant. Imagine having Grant and Fiffitta coming off the bench. Two big humans ready to rip in and get us on the front foot to allow Junior and Maloney to feed quick and early ball to Jennings,Hayne and Morris.

It's the only reason I thought QLD would go with the bigger MK and/or Maguire and/or Lillyman, it's what theyve done best for years, get the balance right for Origin.

It's like pRicky picked both teams, the mobile back rowers reign.

yes the french anthem is very stirring, on sunday our local golden oldies team take on a team of mad frenchmen, they play the french anthem and all tear up, we play working class man and smile! for anyone in the shire its at old bush rd at 130 pm sunday, great frood and icy cold beer, interesting footy and beatiful french milfs to leer at
