If Michael Oldfield can emulate Barry (apparently that's his name) Elsegood then he'll be an asset.

Oldfield is super quick and great in attack but deficient in defence, meanwhile SKD is deficient in pretty much all areas of his game and has been for quite a while. In the past I have excused his ineptness in defence and his diabolical mistakes as he was an attacking weapon who could score a try from anywhere. However whilst his defence has improved this year it is still extremely sub par (refuses to put his body on the line and use his shoulder, prefers to arm grab and misses more that he gets) and his attacking game for the most part is in the toilet. He looks like he would be flat out pulling the skin off a custard let alone breaking the line.

I reckon must have naked pictures of Uncle Nick coz it doesn't matter how many games or seasons that he continues to play like a spaz he never ever gets dropped. I just wish that i could do my job as badly as he does his and still get paid what he does.

If Oldfield could get his defence in order we could have the fastest centre pairing in the NRL with he and Jennings.

I am more and more convinced that SKD is a myth that we all bought because of a few good games.

I often spend private moments thinking about a threequarter paring of the two Mikes.

Oldfield isn't fancy but I think he can do a good job.
He is solid.
He can catch and pass. Has genuine speed (unlike SKD).
I don't know about his defence but he could not be worse than SKD.
But realistically, SKD ain't going nowhere. At least this year.

He's a 5/8 i know but damned if he's kiiling it in other grades he could only be a improvement on skidmark.

The SKD of 2010 would have lapped Oldfied but the SKD of 2013 is turning into a reincarnation of Peter Clarke.

I thought Clarke went Ok.

SKD ain't doing too much of that right now.
