Seriously, it would be a turn-a-round to have both Ferguson and Dugan in SOO after their start to the year.

I would very much doubt that selectors would consider Gordon or Merrit for the position but Stewart must be close to being ready.

Braith could reprise his cameo in the role?
Snake has had a setback, wont be ready for game 2

It's just about the biggest game in NSW history. If Stewart is out as well, they've nearly got to pick Mini. No way I would throw one-game wonders like Dugan or Gordon into that match at Suncorp. Mini's been there and done it and you know he'll be safe (unless it's a grubber in goal).

dont think its fair to put mini there for game 2. i think brett morris would handle fullback well, played there for saints a bit and would be easier to blood a winger as a first gamer or put uate in.

Give Mini a go, remember when The Roosters go well NSW go well.

It would be win win. We get a game 3 origin decider and RTS gets a shot at fullback. I just hope he isn't expected to catch any passes in origin.

Funny you say that actually as SKD played for NZ this year and Kennedy was on the verge of an origin jersey, but Mini is in fine form and with Hayne going down, he could be out for a while, so why not give Mini a chance.

Hayne is their best player and on big money. With him on the field they are a chance of winning. He proved that last night.

Do you think they have given up? Didn't look like it last night.

Merritt's a winger and not a particularly good one?

If Hayne's injured then I would expect Josh Dugan or Mini to be FB. Maybe Gordon...

Nobody else in NSW is of Mini's standard.

I reckon Mini would be a chance mostly for his experience.

Surely Mini will not play. His last game at suncorp was a shocker.

On a positive note, it may allow RTS to cement his position at fb if he has a good game against the dogs.

and if mini gets humiliated in the origin game it might be the reality check he needs to consider his position at the roosters?
