Anyway you don't give something like the Roosters captaincy to someone unless they have earned it. And quite clearly Willie has not. There was a 6 week period where he started to put in 100% but then clocked off again for the final 3 games. It's unbelievable that any Roosters fan would want him anywhere near the captaincy imho.Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

The last 3 weeks he was started on the bench when the prvious weeks he had started, does the guy have to score every week???
he always seems top be the one making the last ditched tackle, in his limited time he makes more metres than the other blokes.
He is the only bloke that could lead this team out of the mire.

As for making more metres if you divide metres by minutes spent on the field
at 10 games to qualify
Metres per Minute
O'Meley 1.79
Myles 1.74
FPN 1.72
Shackleton 1.67
Mason 1.44
Fitzy 1.23
Friend 0.50
If I were to add Willies tackling or lack of it makes him look even worseLast edited by rcptn; 09-14-2009, 04:25 PM.

What is considered 100% for one player may not be considered 100% for another.
What do you consider "putting in 100%" is with willie, compared to what "putting in 100%" is for a player like Fitzgibbon.
Remember both are very different players and both play different roles in the team.
How do you guage if some one is putting in 100%, do we look at someone like finch who "put in 100%" but is not standing up when needed, or do we look at it as a player like Jaryd Hayne who will pick and choose when to inject themselves into a game ???
Saying someone needs to "put in 100%" is very subjective to the role that player has in the team and the role that they were employed for in the team.

I think what Muzz is trying to say is that you can not compare something like percentages of a players input.....
Everyone on these forums have opions of what they would like a certain player to put in, it doesnt mean that person is right or wrong, and you certainly can not compare this level between players, whom are in themselves, induviduals.......
