The thing I don't get is despite Pearce & Maloney playing a lot of traditional first and second receiver for the match Pearce is still the right side half & Maloney the left side half and whilst they do roam to an extent this is the way we're structured in attack and it just makes no sense to me.

SBW - Exceptional offloader & ball player
Maloney - Exceptional support player

Pearce - Great at picking up a hole runner
Maubs - Great hole runner

These are each individuals strength... whether Maloney & Pearce switch sides or whether Maubs & SBW do it doesn't really matter but at the moment I just think Robbo has got it back to front.

SBW is not getting the ball at the right times. And because he's being used so poorly in attacking positions I think he has been trying to push the pass a little of late in an attempt to get involved.

That sums up my view on the matter by and large and I wonder if SBW is being dragged down to SKD's level.

Agree with you 6 on this. Not popular to disagree with the coach but I would love SBW switch to the left.

I agree, SBW will come under special attention over the next few months, teams have had time to study his wares and are workng hard to nullifying him. He will have to now raise the bar to be effective, he will find away, the good ones always do.

It's the NRL, not Super Rugby, where he carved every week.

When he makes a mistake he tries even harder to create something.

Agree his last 3 games have been average and not befitting the player he is.

Early on he was dominant and now even his power in the one on one collision is missing.

Don't know what's going on but I'm a bit worried as I think the dominant SBW is the difference between us making the big one this year or just being a finalist.
