I don't like shitcanning players (I've only ever said that Pearce is in the wrong position not that he's not a great footballer) but Kenny-Dowell has gone in steep decline since 2010. I know that having Brian "Mindscrew" Smith as coach didn't help but good players rise about bad coaches. He's a waste of 350k that could go to a more adept centre.SUPER DRAGON!

Can't wait for Moga to be back. Hope it is soon replacing SKD. Robbo, surely you can see what us novices can see. He needs to be taught how to tackle, using the full force of his body, not just his arms and hands. Please Robbo and Fitzgibbon teach him some tacking techniques and do it quickly, before he loses us a game. SKD, How about you taking some responsibility for your lack of defence. Get help and soon.

Maubs is a complete footballer and a team man who has vision and reflexes more so tha SKD - there is really something the matter with SKD mentally or has personal problems ie family is all I can think of - we know he is a better player than what he has showed this season yet it is really unfair that his team mates carry him whilst opposition coaches target his lethargy resulting in points against us.
I wish SKD all the best and return to form but his body language tells a different story.

I agree that his form is not at its best but as a club man he is outstanding and he always puts in a big effort.
You are welcome to your opinions some of which I agree with but the man still deserves some respect.

He was bad last night and that's being polite. Injured or not there were so many bad reads and poor efforts made by him and Pearce.
I haven't seen Pearcy that out of sorts defensively ever. He was lazy as hell last night. Was it fatigue after origin? I hope so.
To me, everyone looked off the pace last night probably from the week off and the boys backing up from origin. The best bit is we still got the 2 points and that's all that matters. I expect a we will we back to our best next week after that hit out. We have to remember that we have really had some tough physical games this year where we have not had a fair share of possession and had to do a lot of defence. That was bound to catch up to us sooner rather then later.

We are not on the inside of the club so we are all guessing. He may be injured, disillusioned or going through a personal crisis. Who
knows?
At his best, SKD is one of the most lethal weapons in the game.
For all his skills, I will even tolerate his misreads of defense. What I can't stand unless he is truly injured, is arm grabbing. Defense is about attitude and surely this must be lacking.
I hope I am wrong and he is injured because once recovered he will add so much value to this team.
If not, go to Newtown and recover your form and confidence.
SKD, I hope you get back to your best and stay. Leaving should be a last resort option when all else fails.Written and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

Sentiment has no real place in professional sport however I do feel for skd , looking at the boys celebrating next to the Jack Gibson Cup I noticed he looked somewhat dejected .For the sake of his immediate confidence and career he needs to re-establish himself in a lower tier of footy .Whether he plays for us next year or not [though obviously id rather him NOT] I wish him all the best . Ive never been a fan of Aubs in the centres, but its the most sensible way to go for the short term .
