  • Samisoni Langi Injured

Samisoni Langi was injured today playing for Newtown. He has a dislocated shoulder and is likely to miss at least two weeks of footy. It means he'll be likely not able to debut against the Bulldogs in Round 15. It appears our halves on Friday week are now likely to be Mortimer and Cordner. This is going to make it very difficult for us to win.

    Cordner?

Hope we can do better than that...bloody hell that's an untimely blow for young Sam..

I don't think Langi was necessarily going to guarantee us a win in any case.

Let's mess with the Bulldogs' heads instead. SBW to five-eighth.

Aubs would play there before Cordner.

Surely Oldfield can fill in at centre? If we are fielding a 1-7 of Minichiello Tupou Aubs SKD RTS Cordner Mortimer then we are farked.

Friend or SBW to partner Morts with Nafe coming in at hooker

Have you seen Oldfield play centre? He's hardly set the world on fire playing there for Newtown so how could he play NRL there?

Two weeks footy at best. If there is any damage it could be season ending.

friend to shift to half and morts to 5/8 and bring in nafe to hooker would be the safest option

Him at centre (or RTS centre, Oldfield wing) can't be worse than having 2 of our 2RF's in the backline. One at 5/8 nonetheless.

Sheck would brain them at 5/8th got a feeling he played some of his junior rugby there he'd drive them bananas with his footwork the only other option could be Adam Henry who played a bit there for Newtown or the old chestnut in Ben Jones could get a gig lol.
