That article was to point out his current contract is $262K per year. He signed an extension last year until end of 2016. See below...

No doubt he's still on $262K for the new contract too?! Schubert needs to look at these pricks ASAP, he needs Royal Commission/MI5 (or is it MI6?) powers to look into overseas bank accounts etc.

I doubt if we have any real intentions of chasing Sam, but it'd be fun just the same to rattle their cage, by offering him say $400K a season, since he is only on $300K, according to Souths, so he should have no trouble accepting our offer, should he, Hhhhmmm.
I would be targeting George Burgess, if there was any real intention on our behalf, to secure a Burgess, he reminds me a lot of Moz, only a bigger version. Especially if SBW continues in his current form, which is just above Newtown standard the last couple of weeks, for the mega money, I need to see a lot out of him, or he'll be a one season Rooster, for mine.
