This is a worry as he is almost on par with Tinirau Arona for height and weight.

Would have come cheaper than FPN and probably as good or he is a straight swap for LODs salary????

he looks over 110kg, he isn't a small bloke and has a fair turn of pace and 29 isn't a bad age for a prop especially as it will only be a 2 year deal. The one worry i would have is relocating its one thing moving from an english speaking country to another but the french have a completely different culture.

the club has put up a link to some Remi Casty highlights for those interested, seems to have good footwork for a prop, able to hit a hole well.

            He's a depth signing imo.

There would be others ahead of him. I keep saying this and I must sound like a broken record but I can't wait for Kane Evans to make his debut. He doesn't just have size but great footwork for a bloke as big as he is. He's been the forgotten man so far this season but I reckon he will be huge once he gets his shot. He also has a good motor and can play long minutes.

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

The French accent will help him cut a swaithe through the Eastern Suburbs, whichever side he bats for.

It's superleague defence. There are more holes in the defence line than a piece of french cheese.

Lack of communication is not an issue. Pearce can hardly string a sentence together and it feels like he's been around here for ages.

He can just talk with the coach & SBW! Maybe he can teach a few of the boys a bit of Francaise or get JWH & MK doing a bit of a can-can, cook the boys a Cassoulet, it's gotta be a good signing, Vive le Coq!!!

I think they want SBW as compensation!

et ils nous envoient SBW en compensation
My very poor French tells me that the overall tone of that forum is that Remy was much admired & will be sorely missed, although they do wish him luck, I think!

We all know the risk in judging someone based on a Youtube highlight video.

Still, I like what I see.

Anyway, at the moment, and taking into account recent previous decisions the club has made and where it's heading, I can confidently say if its good enough for Robbo it's good enough for me.

He's a good player very similar to moa but with a bigger engine and more ball playing skills, trent robinson was all ways rating him and he played very well under him.
Yeah same height as Moa and FPN, a bit lighter though so more suited to a lock role by the sounds of it.
