There would be others ahead of him. I keep saying this and I must sound like a broken record but I can't wait for Kane Evans to make his debut. He doesn't just have size but great footwork for a bloke as big as he is. He's been the forgotten man so far this season but I reckon he will be huge once he gets his shot. He also has a good motor and can play long minutes.
I think this is a much better signing than some are giving credit for. The whole "oh he's from the super league so can't be that great" simply doesn't equate as an argument anymore. Moa was low key but has been excellent. Then you have the Burgess brothers, Ellis, Graham...
Robbo coached him so knows exactly what he is getting. And the fact that our coach is fluent in French will help immensely.
I reckon he'll prove to be a bit of a revelation and im looking forward to seeing this forward line-up next season:

I see Evans developing into more of a damaging backrower in the early part of his career. Similar to Willie Mason.
This bit I don't get, and it's not a direct dig at you mate, I've just quoted your post.
I will state Moa has done a fine job IMO, I don't have a problem with his efforts so far.
I just don't get where he's been any better than say MK???
I'm positive it's only cos he's a newbie.
I have not seen any difference personally between MK, pLOD, Moa, ButterBall, Guerra, Tasi and Lui. All have stepped up when asked to this year.
JWH was by far and away our best tight forward this season. Shame about the suspension. But I can cop that, he's been hurting opposition teams, that's his job, it's all good IMO.
Cordner has been second best. His hands can be dodgy but I reckon that shoulder is giving him hell and it's affecting his attacking game at times. But he's a tough kid not complaining and playing thru pain.
It's a definite thing with this forum, the newbies are over praised and the blokes who have been around a few seasons are blamed for things the newbies aren't.
He doesn't give away as many penalties as MK. I also reckon he has a quicker play the ball (as would a corpse). And he hits the line harder (but again, so would a corpse).
