I am too old to attend little boy bars, my wife expects alot of "chatter" in the bedroom, Pearce's mumbling and bumbling would be a turn off and i don't own a train, but if i did rushing through the closing doors of the train can cause serious injury and obstructing the doors does carry a $600.00 fine.

One Trick?? you just mentioned three and you are way off the mark.

I actually judge a halfback on his abilities to win a football game, putting his hand up as the goto guy, the man with the big play in his kit bag.

I'm with Rusty on this one, last week PearceOrf was as defensively poor as SKiD.

RTS hasn't helped SKiD IMO. He's only a kid and learning how to play 1st grade in a position that's very demanding in defence. Gone are the days where you put your worst defender on the wing in RL.

In saying that I'm not excusing SKiD at all or blaming RTS. It is just what it is. 2 players not making confident decisions often enough.

Out of all this bullshit, mostly of which I agree with, I don't see SKiD being dropped this season. We have no one better who is fit and coaches don't change winning teams and don't drop blokes with over 100 games of 1st grade experience. And he's still on par with AV in the games played/tries scored stat basically.

I will note SKiD and Butterballs body language appear to be on the wane. Often this happens when players are on the outer or being shopped around. Soward is a classic example of late. If that's the case with our two, I hope it happens soon and it happens fast. Nothing worse than letting it fester.

How did you think PearceOrf went in Origin Rusticle???

        The FlogPen .

        You know it makes sense.

Would you like to borrow a red nose and wig???
So according to you, on current form, Pearce is as bad SKD defensively.

Then on current form, Sandow is the worst halfback in the NRL, and worse than Pearce.

When you say Sandow's a better attacking halfback, all you're really saying is that once in a blue moon, Sandow scores an individual try, whereas Pearce doesn't do this.

That does not make Sandow a better attacking halfback. It makes you a clown.

I'll agree with the part about Pearce not helping SKD & his shitty defence..

But the Sandow argument is a bit silly..Steady Eddy goes better than him..

The fact pearce has been in the top 3 halfbacks in the comp for tries, try assists, line breaks, line break assists and also has the best defensive numbers (MT/Tackles) clearly make him the worst all around half in the game. Didnt you know that?

You really have no idea, Davo's post was referring to when Sandow was " coming off contract" At that time Sandow was getting the vermin home in tight games with moments of magic, be it a field goal, a conversion from the sideline or an intercept against their fiercest rivals. Sandow was playing at a far superior level than Pearce. Whether it was by fluke or good management there can be no argument. I was asked the question back then and seens as we were less creative than a eunich in the sack that is who i preferred.I hate Sandow, a grub of the highest order.

This has nothing to do with Pearce v Sandow now, Pearce has certainly leapfrogged Sandow by a long way, as he has leapfrogged Soward as well.

Like Mini, when Pearce plays within his limitations he is a far better player, when he plays outside his comfort zone he panic's and makes awful and costly decisions.

HIs defence has been all over the shop this season, That side of the field is a massive problem that needs to be sorted, SKD is not the only weak link out there.

In terms of missed tackles, Maloney is 3rd in the laegue - one spot behind Chris Sandow.

He has always fallen off a lot of tackles - both when playing for the Warriors and still now when playing for us.

However his defence never raises a mention on this forum.

                            Strange.

Because most of his missed tackles result in nothing, an extra 5m maybe and he has done some crucial tackles. Also because there are less defensive liabilities on the left so it's cleaned up quickly.
