He's on ~350k. He'd struggle to get half of that the way he has been this year, were he on the market. Why would he voluntarily give away 175k and the chance of playing in a good team and on the outside of the best backrower ever ???

This article is just plain stupid.
Trouble is, he's not playing on the outside of 'the best backrower ever', he's playing outside of Pearce.
'The best backrower ever' should be playing inside SKD, and Pearce playing closer in.

At a time when we are leading most offensive categories ... it's hard to believe our centre ONLY has a couple of 4 pointers half way through the season ....

Are there any other centres in the comp that have played the majority of games this season in such an offensive funk like SKD??

I didn't know this: In 2010, SKD was runner up to Benji Marshall in Rugby League World Golden Boot award. Also named in team of the year. By far his most productive season, scored 20 trys that year and I think 4 against the Broncs the last time the Chooks got a game against the broncs at Suncorp.
The other try he scored this year was against brotown. That was the first time this year that he had run a straight line and hit a hole.

Hopefully he puts a few on them tonight.
          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

We've been attacking down Jennings' side of the field all year?

i watched those highlights last night. He didnt even run in a straight line. Did the typical step back inside which works once ever fifty times. Luckily this time he didnt step back into traffic like he usually does

Probably as straight as he's going to get...
