  • FPN an eel.

i read an article in the Telecrap today regarding eels chasing Glen Stewart but were not willing to pay the 650k a season, mentioned the Eels are/were also chasing Blair and FPN. Does anyone know anything more re FPN.

Out of the three mentioned, FPN would be the cheapest for the Eels to buy.

He's not a good player, he's an outstanding player.... when he decides to have a go that is.

He's below average when he doesn't decide to have a go.

A two switch player, with no consistency . If he clicks into gear and has a good run, he could be the buy of the season for the eels and have a similar season to the season Pritchard had when he left the riff for the dogs. To be honest I fully support robbo if he gives him the flick. He has been given ample oppurtunities to show what he can do and apart from a good run here or there, he has not shown that he can play consistent footy. Cordner played him out of his lock position, and there are better prospects coming through the ranks in Liu, Evans and Napa.

A new heart transplant may have helped.

I'd let him go. Not a value-for-money player nor a valuable player.

So why is this thread title "FPN an eel" if he's only rumored to be talking to Parra?

This could actualy be good for the club in the short term!!

If he thinks he's playing for a contract he may pull his finger out for a few games.

He'd be a very good buy for Parramatta. A destructive player on his day. I still think about those big hits he put on Ben Creagh in the grand final.
