His game hasn't improved in 7 years..

I will vote for the option that says, " back the coaches decision" as he certainly knows a hell of a lot more about coaching a football than you lot or I.

Yeah SKD is in a slump. So there has gotta be a reason our coach (who by the way everybody loved and backed a couple of weeks ago) is keeping him in the side. It could be he does not feel there is a replacement ready yet. People keep mentioning moga. That kid has a heck of a long way to go yet. He shows little urgency in his game. Great future but long way to go.

I happen to think Kennedy is a bigger liability to be honest, and should be with Newtown, but I'm gonna back our coach to the hilt.

That's probably the nicest thing anyone has said to me on here in a very long time. He is actually sponsored by a butcher, in Vic's Meats..For those of you who have read Freddy's book, he has a chapter entitled "The Worst Year of My Footy Life" describing how he went off his game too, so it can happen to the best of them. I think Freddy should spend some time with SKD again like he used to, showing him how to have respect for the ball and revisit those handling skills he taught him. Someone on here the other day was bagging Shaun out by saying that he can't even string a sentence together. I'd like to correct this myth by saying all of my experiences of spending time with Shaun are completely the opposite. I spent an hour with him in Melbourne last year, talking not just footy, but family, travel etc and Brian Smith had to call him into the dining area of the hotel as he just wanted to keep chatting to me. He has also done tremendous work with the Clovelly Crocodiles as a close friend of mine is on the staff there, and he gives over and above of his allocated time to those children, as he will be forever grateful to them for the opportunity given to him by the Crocs. Please by all means criticise his form on the field, but for those questioning his mental capacity, personality or social skills, give me a break! Shaun knows he's not himself at the moment. Real fans stick by their players through thick and thin..Golly I'd hate to be friends with some of you and be going through a rough patch..
