I havn't read the paper today but I did take my wife shopping for her birthday to Bondi Junction Westfields stopping on the way to buy my new Roosters cap at the stadium plus watching Foxsports news 513 & I never heard anyone suggesting that Robbo be sacked.

And to suggest Elliott out coached him is just as stupid as asking for Robbo to be sacked.

It was SKD & to a lesser degree Pearce's stuff up's that beat us. Both of them need to take responsibility for yesterdays loss.

      You guys are kidding yourselves.
We were outplayed all over the park last night.
The only players who made a difference were Moa and SBW and also FPN.
Where were Maubs and Friend..... and Toupou had a shocker together with the most over-rated player in the league after Anasta....Pearce!
Jennings had an off-day and don't mention the muppet SKD!!
Kennedy has one good game in four and frankly is a waste of space.
But it's our defensive structure that is a real problem. Unlike the advancing line of the first part of the season.....we have reverted to the stand-still structure of the last 10 years which has been our major downfall.
At one stage in the game last night when the Warriors had possession......their line came to a halt. There was a two metre 'no-go' zone between the offensive line and the Roosters defensive line......and time stood still.
Did our line move up to apply pressure and cut-off options? No.....they stood motionless as if mesmerised.

This is not a personnel problem. This is now a coaching problem and Trent Robinson needs to show if he has the 'right stuff'?
Being loyal to personnel like SKD is OK when you're winning.....but the last three weeks have shown that there is an endemic structural problem with the 'team' and their coaching which has been masked by a winning record.
Ignoring the obvious is a recipe for being 'also-rans'.

Would the sniper on the grassy knoll please add TRobbo to the list?

I think its fair to say Matty Elliott knew most of our players and plays pretty well and attacked our weak points.

          Good on him.

            Correct.
Matty doesn't have an original thought re coaching.
He is a seasoned campaigner from the school of hard knocks.
Just like his half brother, Smiffy.

Unfortunately time will catch him out....like it has done in the past.

We were not out coached, for the following reason (not in any particular order):
                  1. 2 long distance, against the run tries
                  2. AV Jennings being run down (once every 2 season event)
                  3. Elliott did not have any complicated plays. Just powerful hit ups, good in goal kicking game, kick and chase
                  4. I don't think he had the personnel or the skillset to run at our RHS - I don't believe this was a masterstroke. The way SKD has been defending, the Warriers may have beaten us by 30. Imagine if they lost and the never ran it at SKD...
                  5. Which brings me to SKD
                  6. Robbo pulled a masterstroke when SBW switched to the LHS in attack towards back half of 2nd half - got us back in the game

Unfortunately we have SKD for one more week as we need to replace AV Jennings. Unlike backrowers, we do not have a plethora of centres running around.

                  Notes:
                  1. Special mention to the Mower and FPN. MK contributed >110 metres. He props before the line and then spins and makes metres after the tackle. He is using his strength. I believe he is coached to do this. If someone could confirm this, I'd appreciate it.
                  2. Finally, I'm told Freddy Fittler was calling the match and stated after SKD lost the ball, "This is a career changing event". Perhaps he is in the know.

The lesson he (hopefully) learned will come in handy at the business end of the season..

He played KISS because of Point 4. They did execute KISS extremely well.

Anyway, I'm off to see Bwaiff's great stats. Lol Is he playing tonight?
No he's not. After 30 mins. 3 hitups for 13 metres and 7 tackles. Compared against his opposite, Corey Parker. 9 hitups. 5 offloads. 99 metres.
                      You think we have problems....Lol

St George Illawarra Dragons release Jamie Soward to London Broncos effective immediately..

                            FOX SPORTS June 17, 2013 5:42PM

St George Illawarra Dragons have granted Jamie Soward an immediate release to join the London Broncos.

Last week, the Dragons had given Soward their blessing to finish the season elsewhere and the playmaker subsequently applied for a British work visa.

He will now take an English sojourn with the London Broncos - who lost veteran Craig Gower to the Newcastle Knights - before joining Penrith on a four-year deal in November.

"After consultation with the coaching staff, the Dragons board determined that granting the early release requested by Jamie and his management was in the best interests of both parties," said Dragons CEO Peter Doust.

"It is fair to say that mid-season signings and transfers are not ideal for clubs, players or fans but that is the system in which we work.

"This is not how the club or Jamie envisaged things would end and efforts were made to avoid this circumstance but both parties agree that this is the best outcome.

"Jamie has made a significant contribution to our club, we thank him for his services and wish him well for his future."

Soward added: "I would like to thank the Dragons and everyone associated with the club for everything that they have done for me throughout my time at the club.

"St George Illawarra is a special club with great people and I have some great memories to take with me, especially the grand final win in 2010.

"Rugby league is a business and this is the right thing for me and the Dragons and I wish the team and club all the best for the future."

Less than three weeks ago, Soward was an established and senior member of the Dragons' starting side.

But a one-on-one meeting with coach Steve Price following the team's 16-14 loss to Canterbury signalled the end.

Price's dissatisfaction was not confined to Soward's below-par form.

Disciplinary lapses had also irked the coach.

Soward was also dropped late last season, although Price and Soward vehemently denied a falling out at the time.

Soward joined the Dragons on a mid-season transfer from the Roosters in 2007, when Nathan Brown was coaching the Big Red V.

Will be interesting to see how he go's under Cleary next year.

Cleary obviously highly rates him & I personally highly rate Cleary as a coach so I think he will be a success at Penrith.
