  • There it is....

I knew it would come soon enough, but I wasn't sure exactly when....

It took 4 losses for poor robbo to be beat up by the self proclaimed eggspurts on this forum. Longer than I had initially thought at the start of the season tbh. HAHAHA

I love this place, the knee jerk reactions are hilarious. A rookie coach in his first season, who has turned our team around from the shit we saw last year into what we saw yesterday, missing one of his best players, loses narrowly to a team on a roll, and now we want to see the back of him.

And people are saying that Elliott is a better coach, even though Elliott has been coaching for more than 10 years in the nrl and has diddly squat to show for it so far in the NRL.

    That'll do me.

              Lol..

There are some wombats on here..

No one is calling for Robbo to be sacked. .Pointing out that someone had an off night doesn't mean you want them to lose their job..

Elliot got one over Robbo last night..The score is 1 all..

In what sense did he get one over Robbo? They scored 3 tries on the back of deflections or drop balls. You reckon Elliot was coaching their runaway tries all week in anticipation?

Elliott's coaching almost cost them the game. Todd Lowrie is hopeless.

From where I sit Elliott did the opposite of what we expected.
He attacked the opposite side of SKD, mostly.

Smarter than I thought he was. Prepared for our weak side to get hammered.

                  Out thunk us.

                  Who woulda thunk?

The tactic of attacking Maloney all night instead of SKDumb was the starting point..

It's not a massive slur on Robbo's ability that he got out-thought last night, as he is new to the NRL head coaching rort,& Elliot has been around for ever..

As long as Robbo learns from it..

was born a sydney roosters fanatic

Damn, with the topic on this post "There it is" I was hoping TR had dropped SKD but so far not, oh well.

There were a few "the honeymoon period is over" comments posted as well as a "robbo is elliott's" bitch post, if my eyes are not deceiving me. But you are correct there are no get robbo sacked threads...yet.

Secondly I stand by the players I have asked to get the flick. The only players I can think of in recent times are FPN and SKD. Both of whom in my opinion are average footballers and don't have much between the ears. Although FPN had some great runs last night( first time in a long time, and he is off contract) one vital error stands out for me.We're 12-10 up in the second half, Moa steam rolls lilyman and charges forward into the oppositions 30m, the very next play on the second tackle, fpn drops it cold. He always makes the most crucial errors at the most inconvenient of times.

how exactly was that a great tactic by Elliott? They scored 1 try through the hands (legitimate anyway) and that wasn't attacking Maloney.

the warriors won off the back of 2 x completely against the run of play runaway tries off deflections. If thats Elliott's master gameplan then they are well and truly stuffed

C'mon Hoz, let's be honest, what could he have possibly said at half time or done as a coach to have changed the outcome of this game.

Everyone's bitching about how he took SBW off for 10 minutes. SBW last night spent most of his time in the middle third of the field. He made a heap of tackles and 150 odd metres. Had he not been rested he may have sustained an injury or pulled up sore for next week's game and we would have our most valuable player sitting on the sideline.
