Dont you just love ex players like big Matt Anderson becoming the talking head on Foxsports.

Ive seen the bloke bag just about everyone in rugby league over the last couple of months.
I find him particularly angry and quite offensive.

He goes on about what "should be" rather than what is.

He often refers to his own personal experience as a rugby league player.
I feel his experience is not relevant to what players might endure today.

He bags Blake Ferguson in one breath.
In the next gasp he states his heart goes out to him and he is a good bloke.

Its all a bit confusing.

He then bags the leadership of the game.

Ive seen him rip into many people, without the individuals right of reply.

Much like Big Gordie.

Another man who believes that it is easier to be critical rather than be correct.

Please somebody make them go away.

Cant we have some ex players with some intellect talking on these matters.

Paul Kent is an angry little garden gnome with an axe to grind about everything. David Smith on the other hand has been hired to run the business side of the NRL. He is ex-military, articulate, an extremely astute businessman with a very impressive resume. One of my family has worked for him and he is a dream boss. We should all be so lucky. He's also an Easts man..oh and Welsh, not English..

I truly believe that Gasnier is the best analyst at the moment.

Intelligent, thoughtful, articulate, actually watches the games, young enough to understand the modern game and mature enough to consider his responses.

It was funny watching Matty Johns show last night with Toolis and MG commenting on Fergos latest incident.

Very pot, kettle, black TV.

Fox sports has always had their out there go to guys ready to promote themselves in the media. That lunch show they do is always very amusing. Some of the guests are worse than the compares.

I like Fairy. He never hammers individuals, calls it as he sees it and sees the game as an ex player and coach. I'd like to see him commentate games, I reckon he'd go well.
