On the last couple of games form he certainly deserves a contract extension.
He was massive in that game.
People saying Morts for mom but I thought Moa, LOD and FPN were standouts.
Moa and FPN continually bent the line and some of LODs defence in the middle against Graham, Eastwood, Tolman and Kassiano was top shelf. They really set the platform for us to win.

I don't think we could beat the rabbits with a back row of Maubs, sbw and cordner. Not enough grunt in the middle to support the props. I think we could match their pack with FPN, sbw and cordner though. Especially with FPN in the form he has shown the last few weeks.

Super effort by all our pigs, to take on that pack at full strength up the middle and beat em, superb.

Even if we lose FPN, I think Napa is a read made replacement. How good was he on debut.

        Chook.

A small part of me wishes Billy Birmingham (the 12th man) as Paul Vautin was commentating last night and have said that exact sentence.

Vautin - Out comes the of crowy and whooshka, cop that.

Ray Warren - If it had happened back in Australia fatman he'd already be towelling off and reaching for the talcum powder without a shadow of a doubt.

FPN has had two great games in a row. Keep it up and hopefully, Nick will insist on his resigning. He gives us do much go forward when he is runs hard. Go Frankie boy, get stuck into those eagles next week !!

Probably the smartest thing I've read in regards to FPN.

I agree completely HiG, the only problem is that Parra will offer him a 5 year contract @ $500k a year or something similarly ridiculous, Easts will offer him what he's worth for a 2 or 3 year contract, 4 at the very most, so it's up to Frankie, if he wants to play Finals & GFs he knows what he has to do.

Along with many others on here he has frustrated the life out of me at times over the years with his inconsistency, as we all know that on his day he is a bloody good footballer. Yes, as mentioned plenty of times he does seem that he has a history of reserving his best footy for when it comes time to signing his next contract. There is this fear which I very much understand, that history is repeating itself and that if we were to extend FPN stay with us that he will then revert back to being inconsistent again.

I strongly believe that we should keep FPN, and the reason for this is that for me Robbo is the key. FPN is playing the most consistent football of his career this year, and I put it down to Robbo. Under Robbo, I believe that we will get the best from FPN on a consistent basis, and gone will be the days when FPN only puts in 100% when it comes time for his next contract.

You can't underestimate the impact that FPN is providing this year. He really took it to the dogs who have arguably the biggest and one of the best packs in the comp! He really led the way and had a big influence on the outcome of the game. Imo he was in the top 4 best players for us, along with SBW, Morts and Cordner. FPN will be very important for us come finals time, he provides that bit of X factor for us with his damaging runs and ball playing skills.

Because of all of this I see FPN as too valuable to lose and we should find a way to keep him. I don't imagine that we would have to match offers from other clubs, but at least come close. I see players such as Arona, Guerra, Bosden and Tasi as being below FPN in terms of importance when it comes to retention.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

Cut him loose. Can't keep them all, and have some talented youngsters coming through.

If the club wants to keep him he'll stay I reckon.

We rarely lose players we want to keep. And given the new regime under Robbo I can't see FPN wanting to leave.

It all comes down to value for money. Based on what we have left to spend, what players they need to upgrade, and what they value FPN at going forward. With all the comittments we have, and I must say I'm a fan of FPN, I can not see us even making him an offer that will even go close to the 350k - 400k offers he has out there. I'd be staggered if he is with us next year - the sums just don't add up.

I don't think he'll stay either. It seems to me that Casty was signed as his direct replacement.

But if the club does want to keep him then I don't think he'll go. However I think the club have already made their decision by signing Remi.

And if truly is being offered 350-400, well then God hekp the clubs offering him that sort of money. He's worth 250k, max.

Why on earth would he sign a one year deal here (which hasn't even been offered) when he has three and four year deals on the table from other clubs for big money. A footballers career is very limited. At his age he'll definitely take a longer term deal. He won't be signing a one year contract anywhere and nobody would be advising him to do so.

That's what really frustrates me. It looks like we will end up losing FPN because we abide by the salary cap regulations, and yet we have to sit back and watch while $ouff$ and the bull$cumdogs go about and do as they please! It is a bloody joke what those two clubs get away with!! If we act like those two clubs then we would be able to keep and up grade FPN's contract (off the books naturally!), as well as keep and up grade the contracts of all the young up and coming players, along with of course signing more good players!! It f**king shits me to tears those two cheating pitiful excuses for clubs!!
