drongos had the Australian team for years and were under the cap because of the one team in a city shyt. too many sponsores.

while in dear ol Sydney town there are too many teams and not enough larger companies who can pay the 3rd party PAYMENTS.

If he played like he did last week consistantly you'd throw whatever cash he wanted his way.

Unfortunately, he does that about once every 8 weeks.

The club have decided on what they think is a fair figure for him and if other clubs want to be silly and throw banks at him then I don't mind if he pisses off.

I'm just glad we're starting to grow some balls and aren't getting caught up with back and forth contract negotiations.
