Under Gavin Badger, the Roosters had won only 5 of 19 games before last night.

I must say that even though we lost the count again last night (5-8), I didn't think that last night we were victim of yet another shafting by the boys in pink. I was particularly impressed when we got an penalty for a defender being offside (when T Rex was standing 3 m directly in front of the ref). Had we had a couple of those against the Warriors (who were doing very similar things), we might have even got away with a win then.

Indeed but is there a ref that we have had a more then 50% winning rate with?

We got shafted in the last 10 - 15 mins....marker offside when SBW made big run & Mortimer tackled. Should have been a penalty in front of this sticks but Badger said marker was square...pigs arse he was. Bulldogs then got momentum for comeback. There was also about 3 knock ons or drop balls by the Bulldogs in that last 10 mins which nearly got them over the line.

Agreed, I thought the officiating was pretty good last night. Totally agree with Bally Chook about the last 10-15 mins though ... nothing going our way.

Its a big thing in league who WINS the penalty count when the real focus should be on how many we conceed. I mean if you lose a penalty count 3-4 its not really gonna damage your chances of winning (not withstanding the context of the penaltys), however if you lose the count 3-10 you've got a problem. Saying that I thought they were pretty disciplened last night, the last 15 nearly went sideways but they got the win well done.

My goodness. Mind blowing stats if true.

And that for me is where the rubber hits the road. Those who continue to deny the Roosters are treated differently by the pricks in pink - explain that one to me.

Round 6 at home against the CBBs and the penalty count is 5-5.
Round 15 away against the CBBs and the penalty count is 5-8.

Let's look at how else the Roosters have fared this year where they've played another team twice. I think you know where I'm going with this ...

I'll take the tip backwards as overall I'm real happy with how the team is going this year.

I just think back to this time last year.

Like The Boggs or Souffs last year, it will take us time to readjust to having a competitive side to follow again.

Overall our rate of improvement has been dramatic.

Sadly I feel some on here aren't enjoying it enough.

I know the Reffs are carnts, the Vidiots worse, the judicial system is ludicrous, the 2nd year cap in a time warp and Origin is biting.

But overall it's been a great ride so far.

I suppose I didn't over expect. I didn't think we'd be travelling as well as we are at this stage personally. So for me it's been a very happy season thus far.
