  • Is Mini Worth Another Year?

Start of this season i was saying he must go next year then RTS will take over,But now im not too sure, has Mini proven he isnt done just yet? He hasnt been AMAZING, but he has be consistently Good sometimes Great, and seems to be growing a great combo with RTS, Not only that but he seems to be relishing that Captain role and he is imporoving each week with it,What do you guys think? Are you still 100% he must go? or Should Captain Mini be given 1 more year and RTS given 1 More year to learn first grade with Mini guiding him?

The poor bastard is more metal than bone. He lies down in agony after every game and can't bend over because of a metal rod supporting his spine. And he's the captain of the Roosters.

If he wants to stay another year, let him stay.

Just let Sheck do the running.
    SUPER DRAGON!

I'd absolutely give him another season.

But i'd have him finish his career on the wing, much the same way as Brett Mullins did. RTS has the potential to be absolutely anything - forget the sky, outer space is the limit for this kid - and so he must surely move into the fullback spot next year.

Give Mini another year and risk RTS getting disillusioned, I don't think so.

Mini is my favourite player, the one thing I'd love for him to do is win the GF at the end of the year to go out on a high, another is to know that he retired when he was still a decent player and not just there because he is a legend.

its time to rack up some easy super top up in english super league then he might be able to go another 2 years, then come back to a position at the club? as one of our immortals!

With Mini's first child on the way i doubt his going to want to move to england next year....

As long as its not at the expense of an up and coming young gun. Mini has been great and he is free. Can't get better than that!

Agree...If he stays it can't be at fullback...Back to the wing where he started...
Don't want to lose Roger through lack of opportunity...

If GWS don't get Buddy Franklin, they'll have some spare cash to spend & he can stay in Sydney...
He's pretty safe under the high ball & his dropouts the other night weren't bad...

growing a great combo with RTS
I immediately thought of that shocking pass to RTS at the boot laces. Not too sure what combo you're talking about. If anything, SBW is striking up a great combo with RTS. The two have worked quite well together.

As for Mini, i'd re-sign him. Given he is willing to play on the wing. RTS will be very much ready next year imo. He's already right now. Mini almost screwed up another grubber against the Bulldogs. Apart from Mini's supposed "safety" under the high ball and "experience" what else does he supposedly have over RTS? RTS himself has demonstrated himself to be quite safe, and ten thousand times more flashy

Rts is too good to leave on the wing. He will be fullback next year. I'd be happy for mini to play on wing. He is still playing really well and could help Rts greatly in his transition to fullback. As far as positional play, mini is still the best going around.
