  • The Roosters have to make a statement tonight.

We got our shocker out of the way (Warriors) so tonight the team needs to perform. Another display at home like the other night will not be a good look.

Is any loss a good look Raymond???

TBH I thought we played worse the week before against Watsamatta.

Remember the Bros have just won 5 straight, they are in great form. And they aren't affected by Origin.

We just need to put in a professional performance.

If we do that but still lose we can't be too disappointed.

They will be harder to beat with Brett Stewart in the team, that's for sure.

From what I've seen from the Roosters in their last three outings, I'm managing my expectations for this evening. I expected a loss against the worriers and I have the same feeling right now. Naturally I would greatly enjoy being wrong.

                  Well put maaaaaaaaaaaaate.

I smell round 1 complacency from some of the fanboys in here today.

WoManly are a lot like us this year, tough, defensive, gritty and flair in attack.

Thing is they have been at it for 6-7 years now with a lot of success.

We have been at it for 1/2 a season.

I'd like to make a statement myself but it would be very unlady like. Gosh their fans are weird! We had sporting dress up day today to raise money for charity and of course I took in and wore my Easts gear. All these so called Manly fans came out of the woodwork, wearing gear from 2008. Even a girl in my team who knows nothing about NRL but who lives over that way, came dressed in Manly gear. I asked her when was the last time she attended a game and she couldn't remember! On the way home, a guy stopped me on Old South Head Road when he saw my T-shirt and told me his wife was a Manly fan. He asked me if I bash her tonight would I be considered a misogynist?!! Oh dear...and it's not even a full moon...

Get real, It was 4 tries to 2. With a decent goalkicker we win easily.

That was a statement for you Ray

I don't think I could have been prouder than to watch the guys win so tough.

Down to 15 men for almost one half...usual referee performance... even jenko on leg to score his last try and do some crucial defence.

A win for the ages...and 16000 plus on a Monday night.

Its good to be an Easts fan.
