The fact that it took a third referee's video review to rule that shot on JWH as a high shot summed it up for me.

Had JWH tackled an opposition player like that around his neck, it would have been an instant send off and sitting on the sidelines for the next 7 weeks.

You are so right. We see other teams getting away with all sorts of things but if we do them we get penalized. Has anyone seen the rule in the ref's rule book that says "Roosters must be refereed differently from all other teams".

Yeah I loved that. We had to make a stance. If that wasn't a penalty then we may as well give up.

JWH is a tough bloke and that is why he bounced straight up off the ground. If it was anyone else horo would have taken his head off. I loved the last try that sea vermin scored where the ball went a metre forward.

I actually kept commenting throughout the match Just how much quicker we were being forced to get off the tackled player as opposed to Manly

I've just watched the online replay and it's seriously sickening the way Cechin blatantly makes up complete and utter bulls**t calls.

The one in the 50th minute... Taufua runs down the short side and Peace and SKD bundle him over the sideline... Cechin runs in saying Pearce was not square at marker.

Pearce didn't even get INTO THE F*****G TACKLE ON MATAI BEFOREHAND - Maubs completed the tackle on his own and Peace lined up at marker well before Matai even played the ball.

I swear to God - It's either Ashley Kleine or Cechin... I can't remember a Roosters game that these two weren't the refs.
