I thought friend was outstanding tonight. His defence during that tough period in the first half was phenomenal. Throw in a grubber kick for a repeat set and a great try and he was superb all round.

One tough sonofabitch. He has improved so much this year. He has always made a huge amount of tackles, but it seems his technique has also improved as he doesn't get dominated in defence by the big boys any more.

Gets better every week. Throw him on for 80 and you'll know he'll be solid in defense and control the tempo of the game well on offense. That running try was just amazing, just shows how much more he has to give and how clever he is.
