He could get away with blowing up the toilets at our club,as a few wouldn`t miss them.

        dead set legend

“All that porcelain flying through the air was quite unforgettable," Moon recalled. "I never realized dynamite was so powerful. I’d been used to penny bangers before.”

If he played No.7 ...would he be a Half Moon ?
If he played No.1 ... would he be a Full Moon ?
Since he plays in the centre ...guess he must be a Threequarter Moon ?

..and if he were to socially hang around some of our players .... no doubt end up Blue Moon !

and if he has the direction and speed of SKD he'll be doing the Moon walk down the sideline.

The Machine needs a major overhaul and service as it has not performed as it should since its transfer from its former owner.

It appears to have a major defect that may cost more to fix than the machine is actually worth. A total write off may be the best solution.

Joel Moon = small centre or five-eighth, was good in the lower grades but is yet to be a consistent standout in first-grade, has a good passing game and an average kicking game, good pace off the mark but has serious defensive deficiences

That EXACT description could be used for Jones as well. However, it took Moon until he was 20 to be a regular first-grader (Brisbane last year). Jones at the age of 19 (this year) is already a regular, and although he has deficiencies, there is no need to have Moon as well.
Jones is actually quite a good defender. Why someone is letting 100kg+ backrowers run at him is our deficiency, not his defence.

yep spot on. His actual tackling technique is exemplar - he doesnt miss. his problem is just that he is a little on the short side so when put inside hauraki who is hardly big and strong, he can be isolated one on one and no matter how good you are at tackling, having 100kg blokes at 190+cms tall running at you is pretty hard to stop when they have 10kgs and 10cms on you at least. Up the middle of the ruck he would be ideal as he could tackle around the legs as all good hookers do but he has 2 big blokes next to him meaning that they cant isolate him and try and run over him so perfect

To all those who wrote him off as a talent before he debuted have been dealt humble pie. Although the 'next big thing' tag is thrown around a fair bit these days, I think its ignorant to not even give these kids a chance. Irrespective of whether you go on or not, to be tagged a potential star means that someone sees outstanding capabilities in you that are over and above those of your peers so although these tags should be taken with a grain of salt, hearing these sorts of acalades on young players is always a positive sign of things to come.

in reference to me? it is HIS tackling technique not HE'S tackling technique - have i misinterpreted what you have said - what exactly do you mean. He's = he is/has; his = ownership/possesive pronoun.
